The GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin combines a host of unique design features with the widest range of optional extras available to offer a highly attractive waste container at an exceptionally competitive price.

GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin draws on over fifty years of ongoing research and development by the Glasdon Group of Companies, a market leader in the design and manufacture of street furniture.

GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin is a free-standing waste container with four large apertures able to accept the largest fast food litter. The apertures have been purpose-designed with a chamfered lip that overhangs the liner, ensuring that all deposited waste ends up exactly where it should.

The door on the GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin has been designed for exceptional strength and vandal resistance. The rotationally moulded DURAPOL^® Material door features an innovative design for increased resilience, and its knuckle hinge holds the door flush to the body for improved operation.

GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin features a brand new locking mechanism available in keyed or keyless variants. The new design totally eliminates metal components, removing the possibility of corrosion. The unique keyless locking system is easy to operate. The door has been designed to interlock with the body at three separate points, providing extremely high resistance to intrusion.

The new GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin offers a brand new solution to the growing problem of cigarette butts. A large stubber plate is included as standard if required. The stubber plate is manufactured from corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium in a choice of gold or gun metal grey to co-ordinate with the chosen banding option. The stubber plate has been designed with a textured finish to make stubbing of a cigarette easy and safe, and is inscribed with universally recognised cigarette graphics to make its purpose clear. Stubber plates are also available as an option for the lower lip of the bin’s apertures, as this is a popular point for smokers to use and the textured finish offer additional protection to the finish of the bin.

For areas where high levels of smoking-related litter are a problem, GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin can be supplied with a large capacity hood mounted ashtray. The ashtray is also available in co-ordinating gold or gun metal grey finishes, and features the same textured anodised aluminium construction for a long service life.

GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin is designed to be easily cleaned, and will maintain its attractive appearance for many years. The bin is moulded with integral ribs to discourage flyposting, and is supplied with a removable liner tray in the base that features integral reservoir areas to prevent liquid collected inside the liner leaking out and staining the pavement. The liner tray also creates an area in the base that can hold a bait station for discreet pest control.

In addition to this wide selection of brand new features, GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin contains a number of design points common to other products in the Glasdon range. The bin features two recessed banding areas for gold or silver decorative bands to allow co-ordination with existing street furniture. An A5-sized personalisation area is provided on all four faces of the bin to display a vinyl sticker or polycarbonate plaque containing your logo, crest or message.

As an alternative to personalisation, GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin can be supplied with an A4 polycarbonate poster frame. Popular uses for the poster display kits include sponsorship opportunities and communication from the local authority.

GLASDON JUBILEE Litter Bin is manufactured from DURAPOL Material, and in black is made from 100% recycled post-industrial plastics. DURAPOL is a polymer specially formulated to withstand extremes of temperature and impact tested in our Quality Assurance Laboratory as part of our BS EN ISO 9001:2000 test procedure. DURAPOL Material will not chip or rust, is easy to clean and never needs painting.
